Only 12% of SBs Offer Paid Maternity Leave

Maternity Leave

The WSJ had an article about small businesses and maternity leave yesterday. A survey from the Society for Human Resource Management shows that 12% of businesses under 100 employees offer paid maternity leave. We can’t. We feel badly about it, but really can’t afford it. Looking more closely at the survey, you can see that only 23% of businesses over 500 offer paid maternity leave – so don’t feel too badly if you can’t afford it.

Does your SB offer paid maternity leave?
