Rafi Kronzon is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cartwheel. Prior to Cartwheel, Rafi co-founded and was co-CEO of Gotham Broadband which rolled out broadband consumer services for clients including Time Warner, Cablevision and Sprint. Rafi also founded Identity Systems Corporation, which provided global Internet and Intranet applications for Wall Street firms such as Merrill Lynch and Thomson Financial Services. Rafi has, among other degrees, a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Tim Fitzgerald was born and raised in the vortex between Boston, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. Tim received a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in August 2007. Mindful of the central and ever-increasing role that technology plays in our lives, our communities, and our economy, Tim believes that the tools of this digital age should inspire awe and empower us to learn, grow, and create — and that we shouldn’t have to spend all of our time tearing out our hair in frustration.
Matt Kibildis is a Small Business Account Manager at Cartwheel. He originally hails from the outskirts of Scranton, Pennsylvania and understands that it is also the location of a fictional paper company. He received a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Scranton in August 2005. Matt has been involved in IT support since 2003 and spends most of his spare time collecting records, exploring restaurants, and running.
Frank Kao is a Small Business Account Manager at Cartwheel. When asked where he is from, he would only grunt, “the Midwest,” and made a vague hand gesture towards the Hudson. Frank earned a BS in Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2003, but after finding that modern cinema had grossly overstated the market for mad science, decided to use his powers for good. When not helping simplify humanity’s relationship with technology, he can be found with a Shirley Temple in hand at the nearest Karaoke bar.
Jeff’s first computer didn’t even have a sound card, yet he now routinely streams his music collection wirelessly to a pair of speakers and controls it all via an iPod touch. He enjoys reading, writing, and playing in bands around the city. He prefers pre-war architecture and single-malt scotch, but will settle for a beer and a nice view.
Brice travels around the city troubleshooting problems that challenge his IT knowledge, as well as trains people on new gadgets, keeping him on the cusp of the latest technology. The first time Brice set up a computer he was in the sixth grade, and from then on became the go-to teachers asked for anything technology-related. Brice went on to Rutgers University, where he honed his craft of various technology-related areas, as well as studying History, an avid interest and hobby of his. Hailing from New Jersey, Brice did not have to travel far to find a home at Cartwheel.
